The relationship between the acid and base values is scientifically measured on a scale called “pH”, which means “potential of Hydrogen”. This scale specifies the acidity or basicity in a solution.
In order to be healthy, the ratio between acidity and basicity should always remain constant. If the environment our cells live in becomes very acidic, this acidity will penetrate the cells and alter the pH of the nucleus, laying the grounds for sickness to arise. Scientific research shows that if the pH level in the body is not slightly alkaline, the body will not be able to heal, therefore in acidic environments diseases thrive.
In a few words, any treatment will start to have an effect only in an alkaline environment.
Acidity inhibits the body from assimilating nourishing substances, producing new cells, cleansing and repairing damaged tissue.
