The “Le Palme” pool, one of our guests’ favorite locations, is located in the heart of Terme di Relilax Boutique Hotel & Spa, and is equipped with as much as 800 sq. m of special and exclusive materials that set it apart from all other pools.

Montegrotto is renowned for the healing properties of its thermal waters. In this case, we sought an exclusive alternative that complements this richness by offering our guests another non-thermal bathing option with this pool, which we heat in winter and cool in summer, allowing for enjoyment in every season.

We have made our exclusive natural water pool truly special and safe by using a patented Microban® coating made of Silver Ions, which makes it antibacterial up to 99%.

Moreover, thanks to a quartzite powder floor, the reflection gives you a golden tan similar to the one you would get lying on Caribbean beaches, and it also offers a range of spectacular chromatic reflections that only a natural stone can provide — recalling the colors of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

In some areas there are gentle slopes that bring to mind the water’s edge and let us immerse ourselves in nature with the help of delicate micro-bubble hydro-massage areas that are manually operated as desired.

The antibacterial coating of the ‘Le Palme’ pool reduces bacterial load by 99% FOREVER.

Concrete-free pool

You should know that Relilax was the first spa in Europeto use this system for its pool, a system that has won several awards at an international level for its quality and its innovation. The building process is the core of the entire project as it involves an encasement made of natural quartz stone sand that is molded by hand onto a system of structural mesh, all placed on top of a highly flexible and impermeable layer recommended by Greenpeace as an alternative waterproofing system to PVC.

The result: an almost 800 m² pool entirely free of reinforced concrete, and a potentially moveable technology as it is not anchored to the ground.
